A tutor marks the work line by line and returns specific, encouraging feedback with the next target.

Assessment first
Every pupil starts with a piece of writing we mark, so the first assignment is pitched at the right level rather than guessed.
One target at a time
Feedback names a single priority for the next piece, such as openings, dialogue punctuation or paragraph control, so improvement is measurable.
Parents see everything
The marked script, the feedback and the running progress record are all visible in your account, ready for parents' evening.
Exam conditions when it counts
From Year 5, mock papers introduce unseen titles and strict timing, marked against grammar and independent school criteria.

What ages do you teach?
We work with pupils from Year 3 through to Year 9, plus adult learners who want help with written English.
Is everything online?
Yes. Assignments and guidance are issued online, pupils upload their work, typed or a photo of handwriting, and marked feedback is returned to the same account.
How quickly is work marked?
Most assignments are marked and returned within two to three working days. Mock test reports follow the same timescale.
Which schools do you prepare children for?
All grammar and independent schools, including consortium papers in Sutton, Croydon, Kent, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Essex.
